Israeli world champion in the “Baja” discipline, Tal Shavit, has officially announced her participation in the upcoming Morocco Desert Challenge rally.
Shavit, who secured the world championship title in the T3 category last year, revealed her entry into the prestigious cross-country rally in a post on her official social media accounts. The rally is scheduled to take place from April 13th to the 18th.
“I am thrilled to announce my participation in the Morocco Desert Challenge,” Shavit stated. “This is a new and exciting challenge for me and my team, and we are fully prepared to take on the demanding terrain of the Moroccan desert.”
The rally will see competitors navigate over 2,500 kilometers of challenging off-road stages across six days, starting and finishing in the city of Agadir.
Shavit will be competing in the T3 category for lightweight prototype vehicles. Her participation marks a significant entry into one of the world’s most demanding desert rallies, following her proven success on the global Baja circuit.
