Al Nassr's Al-Nassiry Vows More Goals After Neom Brace

Al Nassr striker Abdulrahman Al-Nassiry has sent a message of gratitude and a promise to the club’s supporters following his match-winning performance against Al Wehda in the Saudi Pro League.

The 27-year-old was the hero for Al Alami on Thursday night, scoring both goals in a hard-fought 2-1 victory at Al Wehda’s home ground in Neom. His decisive double proved crucial in securing all three points for his side.

Speaking directly to the fans in a video message, Al-Nassiry expressed his delight. “Praise be to God for this victory and for the two goals,” he said. “I dedicate them to all the loyal Al Nassr supporters.”

He didn’t stop there, adding a confident pledge for the future. “I promise you more goals and more joy in the coming matches, God willing.”

Al-Nassiry opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, giving Al Nassr a lead they would take into halftime. He then doubled the advantage with his second goal in the 64th minute, a cushion that became essential when Al Wehda pulled a goal back late on.

This brace takes Al-Nassiry’s league tally for the 2023-2024 season to five goals. His form will be vital as Al Nassr continues its campaign, currently sitting second in the Roshn Saudi League table and looking to close the gap at the top.
