Liverpool have confirmed that Mohamed Salah will be available for selection for their upcoming pre-season friendly against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Egyptian forward missed the team’s first pre-season match, a 4-2 victory over Karlsruher on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. He had been undergoing an individual training program following his international commitments.
However, the club has now stated that Salah has rejoined the full squad in training at their camp in Germany. A spokesperson confirmed, “Mo Salah is in full training with the team and is in contention for the match against Paris Saint-Germain.”
The high-profile friendly is scheduled to take place on Monday, July 24, 2023, at the NC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina, as part of both clubs’ preparations for the new season.
Salah’s return is a significant boost for manager Jürgen Klopp, who is keen to build fitness and rhythm within his squad ahead of the 2023/2024 Premier League campaign.
