Malawi head coach Pascal Zambezi said his team showed what they can do against Morocco and promised they will find the net when they face Tunisia.
Malawi opened their campaign at the ongoing 2024 Africa Cup of Nations with a defeat to Morocco, but Zambezi felt the performance gave his players belief for what comes next.
“We proved our strength against Morocco,” Zambezi said, stressing that his side competed well despite the result.
The coach then turned his focus to the next match, insisting Malawi will be more clinical in front of goal.
“We will score against Tunisia,” he added, as Malawi prepare for a must-win encounter to keep their hopes alive in the group.
Malawi’s clash with Tunisia will be decisive in shaping their chances of reaching the knockout stage, with Zambezi calling on his players to build on the positives from the Morocco game.
