Morocco coach Mohamed Ouahbi expects a “high-level tactical battle” when his side meets Lesotho on Monday in the CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
Speaking ahead of the game, Ouahbi said the match will demand full focus and smart game management, stressing that details could decide the outcome against an opponent he described as organised and disciplined.
He explained that Morocco are preparing for a clash where space will be limited and the team will need to be patient in possession, while staying alert to transitions and set-piece situations.
Ouahbi also highlighted the importance of maintaining intensity from the first minute to the last, noting that tournament football leaves no room for lapses and that every point matters in the group stage.
The coach added that his players understand the task and are ready to apply the plan, insisting that Morocco’s ambition remains clear as they look to take another step forward in the competition.
