Algeria coach Vladimir Petkovic has praised Morocco with a major compliment, pointing to the team’s strong organisation and stability at the top.
Petkovic underlined that Morocco have been working with the same coach, Walid Regragui, for a long time and have built clear continuity. According to the Algeria coach, that calm structure has helped Morocco grow into one of the leading sides in Africa.
The Algeria boss also highlighted the level Morocco have shown in recent years, saying their progress is no coincidence. He stressed that the country has taken important steps both on and off the pitch, and that it can be seen in the results.
Petkovic made it clear that Morocco set an example for the region, with a solid plan and a clear football identity. In his view, that approach is something other national teams can learn from.
The comments come as Morocco continue to be regarded as one of the continent’s strongest teams, while Algeria are also building under Petkovic with the aim of returning to the top level.
