The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Egyptian referee Amin Omar to take charge of the match between Morocco and Cameroon, in what is being described as the “Rabat clash”.
The decision, revealed ahead of the fixture, confirms that Omar will lead the officiating team for the highly anticipated meeting in Rabat.
CAF’s choice comes as both sides prepare for a key showdown, with Morocco set to face Cameroon in front of their home crowd as the two teams continue their campaign in continental competition.
