Jude Bellingham has praised Xabi Alonso’s early impact at Real Madrid, insisting the new head coach has already brought a “very positive” influence to the squad and that any talk of unrest around the club is being exaggerated.
Speaking about life under Alonso, Bellingham made it clear the dressing room is fully behind the former midfielder as he starts his work in Madrid. “We’re with him to the death!” Bellingham said, underlining the strength of the group’s support for their coach.
The England international also pushed back at the idea that Real’s recent issues have been deep-rooted. In his view, much of what has been said externally does not reflect what is happening inside the camp.
“Problems are invented” and “blown out of proportion,” Bellingham insisted, stressing that the mood in the squad remains strong and focused on the job ahead.
Bellingham’s comments come as Alonso continues to settle into his role at the Bernabeu, with the midfielder portraying the opening period of the new era as calm and constructive rather than troubled.
