Egypt will begin their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations campaign in a group that promises tight competition, with the full schedule and group standings now revealed.
The tournament will be staged in Morocco, and Egypt have been placed in their AFCON group alongside South Africa, Angola and Zimbabwe.
Egypt’s first match will be against Zimbabwe, before they take on South Africa in the second round of fixtures. The Pharaohs will then close the group stage with a meeting against Angola.
As the group stage unfolds, the standings will be determined in the usual way, with teams battling for points across the three matchdays to secure qualification to the knockout rounds.
