Cameroon Football Federation president Samuel Eto’o has sent a message of thanks to Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) chief Fouzi Lekjaa and the Moroccan people, in comments that highlighted the support he received during his recent visit to Morocco.
Eto’o praised the welcome he was given and expressed his appreciation to Lekjaa for the reception and the cooperation between the two federations, stressing that the relationship with Morocco remains strong.
In his message, the former Cameroon and Barcelona striker also thanked Moroccans for their hospitality, describing the atmosphere as warm and respectful, and underlining the importance of continued coordination in African football.
Eto’o’s words come as part of ongoing contacts between football officials on the continent, with Morocco continuing to play a leading role in hosting meetings and supporting development projects tied to the game in Africa.
