Morocco head coach Walid Regragui used humour in his press conference when he was asked about Azzedine Ounahi’s situation.
Regragui first replied with a smile: “Ounahi will play tomorrow… no, no, I’m joking with you.”
He then moved to clarify the player’s condition, stressing that Ounahi is not ready to feature, and that the technical staff will not take any risks with him.
Regragui’s comments came as part of the national team’s preparations, with the coach insisting that medical updates will be followed closely and that decisions will be made based on the player’s full recovery.
