The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has handed sanctions to Samuel Eto’o, issuing a suspension and a fine.
The decision means the Cameroon football legend has been banned, while also receiving a financial penalty, as part of the disciplinary measures announced by the continental body.
CAF’s ruling confirms both the ban and the fine against Eto’o, in a case that has now been formally closed with the publication of the punishment.
