Brenden Aaronson told he has cracked Premier League at Leeds

Brenden Aaronson celebrates in Leeds United's blue and yellow kit, showcasing his determination after a notable play in the Premier League.

Brenden Aaronson has been told he has “finally cracked the Premier League” and is enjoying the “best spell of his career” as he approaches a major decision over his future with Leeds United.

The USMNT midfielder is still owned by Leeds, but he is currently on loan at Southampton, where his form has drawn fresh praise. Former Leeds midfielder Michael Brown believes the 23-year-old has found the consistency and impact that previously eluded him in England’s top flight.

“Best spell of his career,” Brown said, arguing that Aaronson is now showing the level needed to succeed in the Premier League. Brown added that the American looks more ready for the demands of the division and has taken a step forward with his performances.

Aaronson joined Leeds from RB Salzburg in 2022 and featured during the club’s 2022-23 Premier League campaign, but Leeds were relegated at the end of that season. He left on loan ahead of the current campaign and has been working to prove he can thrive at the highest level in England.

With his loan spell putting him back in the spotlight, Leeds are set to face a big call on what comes next. Aaronson, too, has a significant decision to make as he weighs up where he can continue his progress and secure his future in the Premier League.
