Peter Crouch urges Pochettino return to Tottenham

Brentford manager Thomas Frank passionately gestures during a match, wearing a dark coat and displaying intense focus on the game.

Peter Crouch has called on Tottenham to bring Mauricio Pochettino back to the club, claiming Spurs “dragged on” the decision to sack Thomas Frank as their season continues to slide.

Speaking about the situation at his former side, Crouch warned that Tottenham are now “in a relegation battle”, and said the club cannot afford any more delays as pressure mounts on the hierarchy to steady the team.

Tottenham have already moved on from Frank, but Crouch suggested the drawn-out process has left the squad in a worse position and highlighted Pochettino as the man best placed to lift the mood and restore direction.

Crouch’s comments come with Spurs still struggling for results and confidence, with the former England striker insisting the club needs decisive leadership quickly if they are to pull away from danger.
