Real Madrid honored Algerian international Youcef Belaili, the scorer of the winning goal in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations final, on the sidelines of their match against Espanyol in La Liga.
Belaili appeared at the stadium and received a special tribute, in recognition of his memorable strike in the AFCON final, where Algeria defeated Senegal 1-0 to lift the title.
The ceremony took place before kick-off, with Belaili acknowledged in front of the supporters during Real Madrid’s league fixture.
