Al Ahly have confirmed they had already rejected a previous complaint submitted by FAR Rabat, saying they presented the full facts to the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
In their first comment on the matter, the Egyptian club said the issue had been raised earlier and that their position was clear from the start, stressing they had provided CAF with all the details related to the case.
Al Ahly added that they dealt with the file through the official channels, insisting their stance was based on documented information and that the matter had already been addressed before.
The club’s statement comes after FAR Rabat filed a complaint, with Al Ahly reiterating they had previously refused it and that CAF had been informed of everything connected to the case.
