The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has sent an inspection team to assess the facilities and infrastructure linked to the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya.
The visit is aimed at reviewing work progress and checking readiness across key sites, including stadiums, training grounds, accommodation and transport plans, as part of CAF’s monitoring program ahead of the tournament.
The inspection meetings will also cover organizational requirements and the commitments made by the three host nations, with CAF expected to deliver technical notes and recommendations following the tour.
Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya are jointly hosting the competition, and the inspection is part of the next steps in the preparation process as the countries continue their work to meet CAF standards.
