The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is expected to settle the issue of postponing the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations during meetings scheduled to take place in Dar es Salaam.

In recent days, discussions have increased around the possibility of pushing back the tournament’s dates, with the decision now awaiting CAF’s official position.

The matter is set to be addressed on the sidelines of CAF’s gatherings in the Tanzanian city, where the final call is anticipated to be made.

AFCON 2027 is due to be hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, in the first edition to be staged across three countries in East Africa.
