Cole Palmer would be open to leaving Chelsea if a major offer arrived, with the attacker said to be feeling homesick after his move to London.
The England international joined Chelsea from Manchester City and has become one of the club’s key players, but the latest report claims he is missing home and would “welcome” the chance to return to the north-west.
Palmer’s transfer preference has also been revealed, with Manchester City described as his favoured destination over Manchester United should he be given the choice between the two.
The same report makes clear that nothing has been agreed and no deal is in place at this stage, but it states that Palmer would be receptive to a blockbuster switch away from Stamford Bridge if the right opportunity presents itself.
For Chelsea, the situation is an unwelcome development given Palmer’s importance since arriving from City, while both Manchester clubs will continue to be linked with one of the Premier League’s standout attacking talents.
