The Egyptian Football Association has responded to Moroccan media reports suggesting that head coach Hossam Hassan has been dismissed from his position with the national team.
In comments carried by local media, the EFA stressed that the news circulating about Hassan’s removal is not true, and confirmed that no official decision has been made to sack him.
The association added that any matter related to the future of the national team coach would only be announced through official EFA channels, calling on fans to rely on formal statements rather than reports shared on social media.
The reports had claimed that the EFA was moving to end Hassan’s tenure after recent developments, but the federation’s statement effectively denied that claim and reaffirmed that Hassan remains in charge.
