Egypt head coach Hossam Hassan has denied that he insulted Moroccan football fans, after a video clip spread widely on social media in recent hours.

The footage was circulated as Hassan appeared to react while speaking, with some users claiming his words were aimed at Morocco supporters. The clip quickly sparked strong debate among fans online.

Hassan responded by rejecting the accusation and insisting he did not direct any offensive language toward Moroccan supporters. He described the interpretation of the video as incorrect and said the moment was taken out of context.

The coach stressed that he respects the Moroccan public and Morocco’s football, and that he would not make such a statement about any nation’s fans.

The clip remains a major talking point across Arab football platforms, but Hassan’s position was clear as he moved to end the controversy by firmly denying any insult to Morocco supporters.
