The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) is preparing an official response to the sanctions handed down by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), in a case that has sparked fresh escalation at continental level.

The issue comes after CAF’s disciplinary decisions, which the Moroccan federation considers unfair and damaging, prompting it to move towards a formal reply through the relevant legal and administrative channels.

According to the details revealed, the FRMF is working on a full file to contest the penalties, with the intention of submitting its position to CAF in the coming period. The federation believes the measures taken do not reflect the facts of the case and is seeking to defend its rights and the interests of Moroccan football.

The developments suggest the dispute could move beyond internal CAF procedures, depending on how the situation progresses and the outcome of the Moroccan federation’s response.
