Morocco denied in bid to secure Women’s Africa Cup dates

Morocco has been turned down in its push to secure the dates for the next Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, despite the country’s efforts to influence the calendar.

The issue has centred on timing, with Morocco seeking a schedule that would better fit its planning and domestic calendar. But the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has not agreed to Morocco’s request.

As a result, Morocco will not get the date changes it was aiming for, and the Women’s Africa Cup dates will remain under CAF’s control. The decision is a clear setback for Morocco’s bid in this matter.
