Scheidsrechter Jean-Jacques Ndala, die de finale van de Afrika Cup 2025 leidde, wordt nu onderzocht door de Afrikaanse voetbalconfederatie (CAF). Het onderzoek volgt op de dramatische terugtrekking van Senegal uit de finale wedstrijd tegen Marokko.<\/p>\n

De controverse draait om een onthuld rapport dat beweert dat de scheidsrechter voor de wedstrijd \u201cinstructies van hogerhand\u201d heeft ontvangen. Deze bewering staat centraal in het formele onderzoek van de CAF naar de omstandigheden rond de finale.<\/p>\n

Het Senegalese nationale team schokte de voetbalwereld door te weigeren de finale te spelen, een beslissing die de titel bij verstek aan Marokko toekende. Het protest van het team was een directe reactie op wat zij zagen als bevooroordeelde en vooraf bepaalde scheidsrechterlijke beslissingen tijdens de knock-outfase.<\/p>\n
