Marokko wordt gezien als een sterke kandidaat dankzij zijn moderne infrastructuur en recente ervaring met het organiseren van grote evenementen.<\/p>\n<p>Het nieuwe FIFA Club WK zal 32 teams omvatten en wordt voor het eerst in de zomer van 2025 in de Verenigde Staten gespeeld. FIFA kijkt al vooruit naar toekomstige edities van het toernooi, waarbij Marokko intern wordt omschreven als een voorkeursoptie om te organiseren.<\/p>\n<p>Het plan is dat het vernieuwde evenement elke vier jaar wordt gespeeld, vergelijkbaar met het WK voor mannen. Het zal de beste clubteams van alle confederaties samenbrengen, waarbij Europese teams naar verwachting een aanzienlijk deel van het deelnemersveld zullen uitmaken.<\/p>\n<p>De groeiende reputatie van Marokko als voetbalgastheer is de afgelopen jaren versterkt, niet alleen door het organiseren van diverse CAF-evenementen, maar ook door de ambities van het land op het wereldtoneel. Het koninkrijk zal samen met Spanje en Portugal een van de mede-gastheren zijn van het FIFA WK 2030.<\/p>\n<p>Binnen FIFA wordt Marokko gezien als een land dat het toernooi op hoog niveau kan organiseren, waarbij stadions, vervoersverbindingen en organisatorisch vermogen als belangrijke sterke punten worden beschouwd. De mogelijkheid om het Club WK naar Marokko te brengen, zou ook passen binnen de bredere strategie om grote FIFA-evenementen naar verschillende regio's te brengen.<\/p>\n<p>Voorlopig is er nog geen officieel besluit aangekondigd over de gastheer van een toekomstige editie van het Club WK na het toernooi van 2025 in de Verenigde Staten.
