Kameroens hoofdcoach Rigobert Song heeft Marokko bovenaan de lijst van favorieten voor de titelwinst geplaatst, met de opmerking dat de Atlasleeuwen nu het team zijn dat iedereen moet verslaan.<\/p>\n

In aanloop naar de komende uitdaging wees Song op de recente opmars van Marokko op het wereldtoneel en hun historische prestatie tijdens het WK 2022 in Qatar, waar ze als vierde eindigden en het eerste Afrikaanse team werden dat de halve finales bereikte.<\/p>\n
