Maar de club heeft duidelijk gemaakt dat de naam geen toeval of een stukje internet-aas is. Het vormt het middelpunt van een bredere strategie terwijl de organisatie toewerkt naar deelname aan de USL.<\/p>\n<p>De Cherry Bombs zijn van mening dat de identiteit van een team snel moet opvallen in een volle sportmarkt, en zij zetten in op een merk dat luid, lokaal en onmogelijk te negeren is. In plaats van te proberen te passen bij bekende voetbalnaamtradities, kiest de club voor iets dat een reactie afdwingt en, in hun ogen, een gesprek op gang brengt.<\/p>\n<p>Die aanpak, benadrukt de club, is precies de bedoeling.
