In een verrassende zet heeft Gambia geen officieel bericht uitgegeven om Senegal te feliciteren na hun zege bij de Afrika Cup of Nations.<\/p>\n

Senegal veroverde de titel door Egypte in de finale met 4-2 te verslaan na strafschoppen, na een doelpuntloos gelijkspel in de reguliere speeltijd en verlenging, waarmee het de eerste AFCON-trofee in de geschiedenis van het land won.<\/p>\n
