Morocco coach Walid Regragui will use the upcoming international window to test his squad against two of South America’s biggest teams. The Atlas Lions are set to face Brazil and Peru in a double-header of friendlies.

The first match will be against Brazil on 25 March in Tangier. Three days later, on 28 March, Morocco will take on Peru in Madrid.

Regragui sees the two fixtures as an important opportunity to assess his group after the World Cup in Qatar. The meetings with Brazil and Peru will be used to try out options, look at new faces and fine-tune the team ahead of the next stage of Morocco’s calendar.

The matches also mark Morocco’s return to action since their historic World Cup campaign, where they reached the semi-finals and became the first African team to do so.
