Tanzania international Mudathir Yahya has promised his side will “fight” when they face Morocco, as the Taifa Stars look to continue what he described as “writing history”.
Speaking about the challenge ahead, the Tanzanian star insisted the squad is not travelling to make up the numbers, stressing that the players believe they can build on their recent progress.
“We will fight to keep writing history,” Yahya said, underlining that Tanzania will approach the match with confidence and full commitment.
The player also highlighted the importance of mentality against one of Africa’s strongest teams, noting that Tanzania are determined to deliver a performance worthy of their ambitions.
