Mexico have named a squad for their upcoming friendlies against Panama and Bolivia, with U.S.-born trio Richard Ledezma, Brian Gutiérrez and Obed Vargas among the headline selections.
The call-ups underline Mexico’s continued push to bring in eligible dual-nationals, as El Tri prepare for the two matches as part of their next international window.
Ledezma, Gutiérrez and Vargas have all been included in the group, giving each player a chance to be involved at senior level for Mexico in the matches against Panama and Bolivia.
Mexico will first face Panama before taking on Bolivia, with the fixtures set to offer the coaching staff a chance to assess the squad and test options ahead of the competitive calendar to come.
The inclusion of the U.S.-born trio is the standout element of the squad announcement, with all three players now in line to feature in El Tri colours over the two friendlies.
