Saudi clubs are making renewed attempts to sign Barcelona winger Raphinha, with reports confirming that a massive salary offer has been put on the table for the Brazilian international.
According to sources close to the player, several Saudi Pro League sides have stepped up their interest in the 27-year-old, who has been a key figure for Barcelona this season. The offers are said to be worth a significant financial package that would make Raphinha one of the highest-paid players in the league.
The Saudi clubs see Raphinha as a major addition to their growing list of global stars. The winger’s pace, dribbling, and ability to create chances have made him a prime target for the Gulf sides looking to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the 2026 season.
Raphinha joined Barcelona from Leeds United in the summer of 2022 for a fee of around €58 million. Since then, he has made over 80 appearances for the Catalan club, scoring 20 goals and providing 25 assists. His current contract at Camp Nou runs until June 2027.
Despite the lucrative offers, the Brazilian has not yet made a decision on his future. Barcelona are believed to be reluctant to let him go, especially given his strong form this campaign. However, the club’s ongoing financial struggles could force them to consider a sale if the right offer arrives.
The Saudi Pro League has already attracted several high-profile names in recent transfer windows, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Neymar. Adding Raphinha would be another statement of intent as the league continues its aggressive recruitment drive.
Negotiations are expected to continue in the coming weeks, with both the player and his representatives weighing up the options. For now, Raphinha remains focused on Barcelona’s push for silverware this season, but the Saudi offers are not going away.
