Morocco captain Romain Saiss has promised his side will not fall into the same traps again, stressing that the national team will treat every opponent with the respect they deserve.
Speaking about the atmosphere inside the camp and the approach for the upcoming matches, Saiss said: “We will not repeat the mistakes of the past, and we will not underestimate opponents.”
The defender explained that the lesson from previous experiences is clear, especially in major tournaments where small details can decide everything. He underlined that Morocco’s focus has to be constant, no matter the name of the rival, and that the players are aware that any drop in concentration can cost them.
Saiss also pointed to the importance of preparation and discipline, insisting that the group is working with a serious mindset to meet expectations. He added that the key is to stay calm, follow the coach’s instructions, and keep the same intensity from the first minute to the last.
In his message to fans, Saiss made it clear that Morocco’s ambition remains high, but he believes ambition must be backed up by hard work and respect on the pitch. He said the team understands what is required and is determined to show maturity in the challenges ahead.
