The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has decided to suspend Mali midfielder Hamari Traoré for two matches, just before Mali’s meeting with Tunisia in the Africa Cup of Nations.
The decision means Traoré will miss the Tunisia game, after receiving a red card in Mali’s previous match against South Africa.
Mali are set to face Tunisia on Saturday, in the second round of Group E at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Mali opened their Group E campaign with a 2-0 win over South Africa, while Tunisia started with a 1-1 draw against Namibia.
