Liam Rosenior has played down talk linking him with the Chelsea job, insisting “nothing is concrete” after Strasbourg’s draw at the weekend.
The English coach was asked about reports suggesting he could be lined up to replace Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge, with Strasbourg and Chelsea both part of the BlueCo ownership group. Rosenior made it clear he has not been told anything and has received no confirmation of any move.
“Nothing is concrete,” Rosenior said when quizzed on the speculation, stressing his focus remains on his current role.
His comments came after Strasbourg drew their latest Ligue 1 match, with Rosenior quick to steer the conversation back to his team’s performances and the work still to be done this season.
While the rumours continue to circulate, Rosenior’s stance was firm: there has been no official approach and no certainty over any potential change at Chelsea, with Maresca still in charge.
