Egypt head coach Hossam Hassan said he hopes Mohamed Salah continues to break records, stressing that the national team will not be distracted by the rumors circulating in recent days.

Speaking in a video interview, Hassan praised Salah’s value and influence, underlining that the Liverpool star remains a key figure for Egypt and a source of pride for Egyptian football.

I hope Salah achieves record numbers,” Hassan said, making it clear he wants the captain to keep delivering at the highest level and to add more milestones to his career.

The coach also addressed the current talk around the team, insisting there is no room for noise or speculation inside the camp. “We do not pay attention to rumors,” he added, pointing to the need for focus on the work and on upcoming commitments.

Hassan’s comments come as discussion grows online about different claims linked to the national team, but the coach was firm that the staff’s priority is preparation and unity, not reacting to what is being said outside.

In the same context, he highlighted that Egypt’s approach is based on clear planning and calm decision-making, and that everyone is expected to concentrate on representing the country in the best way possible.
