Trezeguet: Egypt team has evolved offensively and aims for African Cup title

Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet” said the Egypt national team has made clear progress in attack, stressing that the players are targeting the Africa Cup of Nations title.

Speaking in remarks on Saturday, Trezeguet explained that the team’s recent performances show an improvement in the attacking side, as Egypt look to build on their work ahead of the next stage.

“The national team has developed offensively,” Trezeguet said, pointing to the growing understanding between players and the better movement in the final third.

The winger underlined that Egypt’s ambitions remain big, adding that the squad is not thinking about anything other than competing for the trophy.

“Our goal is to win the AFCON title,” he said, making it clear that the team’s focus is on delivering a strong tournament and meeting the expectations of the fans.

Trezeguet also noted that the players are taking the preparation seriously and are determined to keep improving as they move forward.
