Egyptian left-back Mohamed Hamdi has described his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury as “frustrating”, but insisted he will stay and continue his journey in Morocco.

Hamdi spoke after confirming he had suffered an ACL injury, a setback that will keep him out for a long period. However, the defender made it clear that the injury will not end his experience in the Moroccan league.

“It’s a frustrating injury,” Hamdi said, while stressing that he remains determined to return stronger and pick up where he left off.

He added that he will continue in Morocco, underlining his commitment to his club and his desire to complete what he started despite the difficult moment.

Hamdi’s comments came as he begins the recovery process following the confirmed diagnosis, with the player focusing on rehabilitation and a full return to action.
