Ivory Coast head coach Emerse Faé said Mohamed Salah will not be his team’s only focus when they face Egypt, stressing that his players must stay humble against one of Africa’s strongest sides.

Speaking ahead of the clash, Faé made it clear that Egypt cannot be reduced to one star name, even if Salah remains the headline threat.

“Salah is not our only concern,” Faé said. “Egypt have a lot of quality and experienced players. We will show humility against Egypt.”

The coach underlined that his plans will be built around limiting Egypt as a unit, not just stopping the Liverpool forward, pointing to the depth and balance in the Egyptian squad.

Faé also revealed that his team will approach the match with full respect, insisting that details and discipline will be vital in such a high-level encounter.

Ivory Coast are preparing for a tough test, with Faé demanding focus and maturity from his side as they look to deliver a strong performance in the Egypt match.
