Crystal Palace have set a clear price tag for Marc Guéhi ahead of the January transfer window as several of Europe’s biggest clubs continue to monitor the England defender.
Guéhi, 24, has been one of Palace’s standout performers over the last two seasons and is now firmly on the radar of teams looking to strengthen at centre-back. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are among the clubs credited with ongoing interest, with Palace braced for fresh approaches once the winter window opens.
Palace’s stance is understood to be straightforward: they are not actively looking to sell midseason, but they would consider a deal if an offer arrives that reflects Guéhi’s importance to the squad and his value in the current market. The club believe he is among the best central defenders in the Premier League outside the established top sides, and they are pricing him accordingly.
Guéhi has captained Palace at times and has shown he can handle responsibility, both for club and country. His calm passing, ability to defend in space and speed across the ground make him an appealing option for teams who play a high line and want defenders comfortable in possession.
For Arsenal, the attraction is depth and competition in the back line as they chase major trophies. Liverpool are also expected to assess defensive options as they plan for the next phase of their squad rebuild, while Manchester City have consistently targeted defenders capable of stepping into midfield areas during build-up play.
Palace, however, are in a strong negotiating position. Guéhi is under contract and remains central to their plans, meaning any January bid would need to be substantial to even bring Palace to the table. The club have also shown in recent windows that they are willing to hold firm when key players are targeted.
While no deal is close at this stage, the message from Selhurst Park is that Guéhi will not be available on the cheap. Interested clubs now have a clear idea of the level of offer required if they want to test Palace’s resolve when the window opens.
