Algerian side MC El Bayadh coach Lotfi Draji praised the Egyptian fans and organisers for the way they welcomed his team during their recent trip, stressing that they showed respect and did not behave like others.
Draji said: “The kindness of the Egyptians is on our heads. They did not do what others do.” He added that his delegation felt appreciated from the moment they arrived and throughout their stay.
The MC El Bayadh manager explained that the reception was calm and sporting, with no incidents, and that his players were able to focus on their duties in a good atmosphere.
Draji also underlined that such behaviour reflects the strong relationship between the two countries and the shared football culture, calling for these values to remain present in Arab competitions.
He concluded by thanking everyone who contributed to making the visit smooth, insisting that the respect shown by the Egyptians deserves recognition.
