Manchester City have completed the signing of Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace in a £20 million deal, seeing off interest from rival clubs to land the defender.
Guehi has put pen to paper on what has been described as an eye-wateringly lucrative contract at the Etihad Stadium, with City moving quickly to get the transfer over the line.
The 24-year-old leaves Palace after establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s standout centre-backs, and he now takes the next step of his career under Pep Guardiola.
City’s move ensures they add another top-level option at the back, while Palace lose a key figure from their defensive unit.
The deal is now done, with Guehi officially a Manchester City player following his switch from Selhurst Park to the Etihad.
