Roberto De Zerbi has responded to reports linking him with the Manchester United job as the Premier League club continue their search for a permanent replacement for Ruben Amorim.
The Marseille head coach has been mentioned as a possible candidate in the wake of United’s ongoing managerial hunt, but De Zerbi played down the talk when asked about his future.
“I’m happy at Marseille,” De Zerbi said, making it clear his focus remains on his current work in Ligue 1 rather than any speculation from England.
United are still weighing up their next step as they look to settle on a long-term appointment, with the club yet to confirm who will take over on a permanent basis following Amorim’s departure.
De Zerbi’s name has repeatedly surfaced during the search, but his latest comments underline that he is not looking beyond Marseille at this stage.
As things stand, United’s process continues, while De Zerbi insists his attention is firmly on his team and the challenges ahead in France.
