The Congolese Football Federation has welcomed the final ruling issued by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) regarding the Africa Cup of Nations match between Morocco and Senegal.
In a statement, the federation congratulated CAF on what it described as a definitive decision, stressing the importance of applying regulations and ensuring fairness in continental competitions.
The Congolese FA said the closing of the case brings clarity after the controversy surrounding the Morocco–Senegal encounter, and it expressed hope that such decisions would strengthen confidence in CAF’s governance.
The federation added that respecting the outcomes of official disciplinary and legal procedures is essential for protecting the integrity of African football.
