Kylian Mbappe has been told that Arsenal would be the “perfect fit” for him if he ever decides to leave Real Madrid.
Former Arsenal and France right-back Bacary Sagna believes the Gunners have the style and the players to get the best out of the World Cup winner, and he has pointed to a potential link-up with Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze as one that could excite supporters.
Sagna talked up Arsenal’s current direction under Mikel Arteta and suggested that Mbappe would suit the team’s approach, with the club building a young, fast and attacking group that can compete at the top level.
Mbappe, who has already made the move to Madrid, continues to be linked with the biggest clubs in the game, but Sagna’s message was clear: if the forward is ever looking for a new challenge, Arsenal should be seen as a natural destination.
The ex-Gunner also highlighted the kind of forward partnerships Arsenal could create, calling the idea of Mbappe combining with Saka and Eze a “dream” scenario and one that would make Arsenal even more dangerous in the final third.
For now, Mbappe remains a Real Madrid player, but Sagna’s comments underline the belief that Arsenal’s project has reached a level where it can be viewed as a realistic home for the very best talents in world football.
