Sandro Tonali’s agent has spoken publicly about the Newcastle United midfielder’s future following fresh talk linking him with a move away from St James’ Park.
Recent reports have suggested Arsenal are tracking Tonali, while Juventus have also been mentioned as a possible destination. The Italy international has been the subject of constant discussion since arriving in the Premier League, with his situation watched closely in both England and Italy.
Tonali’s representative, Giuseppe Riso, moved to address the rumours and made it clear the player is committed to Newcastle. Riso said: “He’s very happy at Newcastle. He’s there to win.”
The agent’s comments are the clearest message yet on Tonali’s intentions, with Riso stressing there is no plan for the midfielder to leave and that his focus remains on his current club.
