The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has confirmed that Walid Regragui will remain in charge of the national team.
The decision was revealed after a meeting between FRMF president Fouzi Lekjaa and Regragui, where the federation said it is keeping its confidence in the head coach.
Regragui, who led Morocco to the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, will therefore continue with the next phase of the team’s project as Morocco targets upcoming competitions.
The federation’s statement ends speculation about a possible change on the bench and makes clear that Regragui stays in place with the full backing of the FRMF.
