Paul Scholes has said he would “love” to see Manchester United sign Tottenham forward Dejan Kulusevski, describing the Sweden international as looking “pissed off” during Spurs’ struggles.

The former United midfielder was speaking after Tottenham’s poor run of form, with Scholes suggesting Kulusevski has the kind of edge and attitude that would fit at Old Trafford. Scholes pointed to the player’s reactions during games, saying he appears frustrated with how things are going in north London.

Scholes’ comments come as pressure continues to build at Spurs following a difficult spell, with Kulusevski often one of the more dangerous players in Ange Postecoglou’s side despite inconsistent results.

The ex-England international made it clear he is a fan of Kulusevski’s overall game, highlighting his intensity and presence, and said United should consider him as a potential addition.

Kulusevski, who has been a key part of Tottenham’s attack since joining the club, has not publicly indicated any desire to leave. There has been no confirmed move or approach, but Scholes’ remarks add to the discussion around United’s future transfer plans as they look to strengthen their squad.
