The CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final draw has handed Morocco’s RS Berkane and FAR Rabat difficult all-Arab assignments, setting up two high-stakes ties as the competition moves into its decisive phase.

RS Berkane were drawn to face ASEC Mimosas, with the first leg set to be played away before the return match in Morocco. Berkane, former winners of the competition, now know the route they must take as they chase another continental title.

FAR Rabat, meanwhile, were paired with Egyptian side Zamalek in what is expected to be one of the standout quarter-finals. The first leg will be played away, with FAR aiming to put themselves in a strong position before the second leg on home soil.

The draw has confirmed that both Moroccan representatives will have to overcome tough opposition to progress, with every detail now in place for the quarter-final stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
