Cole Palmer has reportedly become embroiled in a dispute with neighbours after submitting plans to build a new gym in the garden of his mansion.
The Chelsea star is said to want the outbuilding at his home, but the proposals have met resistance locally, with nearby residents raising objections.
It is understood the complaints focus on the impact the structure could have on surrounding properties, and the matter has now turned into a neighbourhood row as the application is considered.
Palmer has enjoyed a rapid rise since joining Chelsea and has become one of the club’s key attacking players, but attention has now shifted away from the pitch because of the disagreement over his off-field plans.
The plans, which relate specifically to building a gym in the garden, have been lodged through the proper channels and are subject to the normal process before any final decision is made.
A decision will be taken in due course following the review of the proposals and the objections that have been submitted.
